A one-stop-skill-shop for busy kiwis
As New Zealand's first-ever odd jobs marketplace, MyTask helps thousands of kiwis find skilled individuals who can turn their to-dos into to-dones.
With an MVP under their belt, MyTask asked Planes to take care of optimisation and growth. Our UX research identified the key user pain points to address in the mobile-first rebuild. By reducing the number of inputs and improving job posting flow, we were able to grow the user base and drive up customer lifetime value.
MyTask’s proposition was a quick and easy odd-job service. So we built in React Native, allowing us to deliver a web and mobile app at the same time. We also created a lightweight Design System to speed up the build.
Launching on multiple platforms also helped us to achieve an average of 6 opens per week per user, as well as an impressive number of job postings in week 1.
